Services

I am currently full and am not able to accept new clients at this time. You are welcome to contact me and I am happy to provide referrals to other clinicians.

Services are provided in-person or via telehealth using HIPAA compliant telehealth platform.

Counseling Services

-individual counseling sessions for children ages 2+, adolescents, and young adults.

-Family/conjoint sessions if appropriate.

-Play therapy

-Trauma therapy

Assessment

-In depth trauma assessments can evaluate the impacts of trauma and symptoms related to post-traumatic stress.

-Child and Adolescent Needs and Strengths assessments (CANS) and Adult Needs and Strengths Assessment (ANSA) can provide insight on needs and strengths/supports to help with goal setting and acquiring support services.

-Additional assessments that can provide insight on other symptoms (anxiety, depression), safety concerns, behavioral difficulties, and emotion/thought regulation difficulties.

Parenting education

-Parent sessions to provide support and education in relation to your child and family.

-COMING SOON- Parenting education groups/classes.

Insurance and Payment Information

Desert Roots Counseling is considered “in-network” with the following insurance companies:

  • Aetna

  • United Health Care

  • Cigna

  • Blue Cross Blue Shield.

I understand that therapy can be costly, which can be a barrier for some. For first responders and those with Tricare or AHCCCS, we can explore sliding scale private pay rates. I am happy to provide superbills for you to submit for possible out-of-network reimbursement. I will provide as much information as I can, even if it means I provide referral sources to other providers that take your insurance. I will support you in any way that I can!
